1. Payment Terms
- Secure EFT: All orders are processed upon confirmation of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
- Corporate Accounts: Trade credit terms are available for established mining and industrial partners, subject to a successful credit application.
- Pro-Forma Invoices: We provide formal Pro-Forma documentation for all corporate procurement and internal approval processes.
2. Shipping & Technical Logistics
We specialize in direct-to-site delivery across South Africa.
- No Public Collections: To ensure site security and the specialized handling of industrial equipment, Jacob & Sons does not offer a collection service. All orders are dispatched via our vetted freight partners.
- Dispatch Times: In-stock components typically ship within 24–48 hours.
- Heavy Equipment: For large-scale items (pumps, valves, etc.), we coordinate specialized road freight to ensure safe arrival at your facility or mine site.
3. Site Requirements
- Offloading: Clients must ensure that appropriate lifting equipment (e.g., forklift or crane) is available on-site for any items exceeding 100kg.
- Access: Please confirm that the delivery site is accessible for heavy-duty industrial vehicles. Restricted access must be communicated during the quoting phase to prevent redelivery surcharges.
4. Delivery Risk
Risk passes to the client upon signature of the delivery note at the destination. We ensure all goods are packaged to industrial standards to withstand transit.
